OACAC Family Planning provides all people with quality sexual reproductive health care by equipping them with information and affordable access to services. We strive to provide timely appointments in a welcoming and inclusive environment to ensure patients have confidential access to services.
OACAC Family Planning is seeking an outgoing person with the knowledge or willingness to learn about a sexual and reproductive health medical office setting. This person will be the first impression that patients receive regarding our services through phone and in person contact with our office. This person will support overall clinic flow by providing excellent customer service in a busy clinic setting.

Work Status: 40 hours per week (Full Time) Hours: Monday-Thursday 7am-5:30pm

Pay: $15.00 per hour (40 hours per week)

Office Knowledge and Experience
Check in and Check out patients
Collect patient fees and providing supplies and medications
Answering multi line phone system
Scheduling patient appointments
Scanning, faxing and copying as required by position
Collects and verifies insurance coverages for visits
Manages office supply and medication inventory
Supports small clinic needs as requested-help provide routine lab work and medical history taking
Ability to speak professionally in a variety of settings-phone, in person, community events and meetings
Comfortable speaking on a variety of sexual and reproductive healthcare topics with patients, community and staff members
Ability to multitask
Ability to work varied hours as needed for outreach on evenings at weekends
Preferred:
Medical Office experience
Knowledge of Family Planning services and contraceptive methods
Knowledge of medical terminology and medical billing/coding
Transportation
