OACAC Head Start is seeking motivated team members for the position of Head Start Preschool Teacher Assistant.   As an Assistant Teacher, you will create a warm, welcoming classroom environment that helps children reach their highest potential while partnering with parents and your co-teaching team to help make this happen.  You will show exemplary responsive care, while demonstrating classroom management skills, lesson planning and developmentally appropriate practice.  Join a team that values community and relationships!

Salary Range: $16.57 - $19.65

Requirements: Minimum of HS Diploma/GED AND six (6) college credit hours or Preschool CDA.  Experience working with preschool children. Willingness to obtain CDA Credential.

Preferred:Early Childhood degree.  Copy of transcript required with application.
