OACAC Head Start is seeking motivated team members for the position of Head Start Preschool Lead Teacher/Director.   As the Lead Teacher, you will create a warm, welcoming classroom environment that helps children reach their highest potential while partnering with parents and your co-teaching team to help make this happen.  You will show exemplary responsive care, while demonstrating classroom management skills, lesson planning and developmentally appropriate practice.  This position provides supervision to co-teachers and is responsible for maintaining State Licensing and Accreditation Standards as well as Federal Head Start Performance Standards.  Join a team that values community and relationships!

Salary Range: $18.16 - $19.07

 

Requirements: Minimum of Early Childhood AA/AAS degree.  Copy of transcript required with application.  Supervisory experience.

 

Preferred:  Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child & Family Development or related field.

Declaration Form for prospective employees of Head Start programs

Federal policies require that Head Start agencies require all prospective employees to sign a declaration prior to employment which lists: 1.
